It is the right of all children and adults to receive education which rewards, respects, and develops their individual needs, interests, and potential, without regard to gender, race or creed.
Inclusion & Comfort
Refusal And Acceptance Of Authorisations
Management expects educators to abide by the Code of Ethics as developed by the Australian Early Childhood Association and the Code of Conduct as set down by the Department of Community Services.
Special Needs Inclusion
It is a policy of this centre that all children are treated equal. Staff use multicultural keywords to communicate with children who speak an alternative language to English.
Kindergarten
A qualified kindergarten teacher runs the 3.5 – 5-year program. A program is displayed in the room each week. Through planned activities and experiences, as well as free play, the children learn how to be imaginative, to problem solve, develop relationships with others and develop gross and fine motor skills.
Sibling Interaction
Family grouping times encourage family members to interact by spending time together. Discussion takes place with the parents so that the children are comfortably settled in.
Supporting Children's Individual Needs Policy
Children and their families will be accepted into the centre on an equal basis. It is a core focus of our philosophy that staff welcome and treat all children and families equally as individuals.
Music And Movement
Music and movement is an important part of each program on a daily basis.
